Samantha Baby Doll- Pattern

This is a pattern for an adorable doll knit with Cascade yarns. She is stuffed with a small amount of stuffing but mostly she is stuffed with pellets which gives her the most soft, cuddly, and floppy feel. She also has a more realistic weight. This pattern comes with the directions to make the doll, diaper, jumper and bow. This is a wonderful toy for any child to enjoy!

Scrappy Snake- FREE PATTERN

Scrappy Snake Free Pattern:

Like me, you probably have lots of little yarn “scraps” or left-over yarn from past projects that you just can’t bring yourself to throw away, but it’s not enough for another full project. After a while, we are left with lots of small “scraps” of yarn. I came up with this pattern so that we can use up our yarn scraps. Meet Scrappy Snake! You can make him as long as you like, and he is soft and great for kids! My son LOVES his Scrappy!

All the scrap yarn you have!

Cut a length of tail and weave it onto a tapestry needle. Weave the tapestry needle through the remaining stitches and close the hole tight.

(Note: the cables are the back of the snake, so when you are adding eyes, make sure the cables are on his back!)

Tongue-

On the face, pick up two stitches (leave a long piece of yarn for weaving through the tongue later) and work in i-cord until the tongue measures 2 inches. Cut your yarn (leaving a tail) and weave the tail through a tapestry needle. Weave the needle through the two stitches on the end and pull. Weave the other tail (at the beginning) through the tongue to the tip. Tie the two tails together so that the tip of the tongue has a V-shape. Trim
